Requirements

  • Strong expertise in connectivity stack (Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, Smartphone Projection)
  • Deep understanding of Android framework, particularly Connectivity, HAL, and Network Manager layers
  • Experience with Qualcomm host processors (SA8255, SA8155, SA8295) and Android-based infotainment platforms
  • Knowledge of Bluetooth stack integration (Classic, BLE, HFP, A2DP, AVRCP, PBAP, MAP, SPP, HID, PAN profiles)
  • Knowledge of Wi-Fi stack integration (hotspot, STA, P2P, Soft-AP, tethering, concurrent mode)
  • Experience with Projection software integration (Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, Google Automotive Assistant - AAA)
  • Familiarity with Qualcomm connectivity SDKs (QCA / CNSS / WCN)
  • Program delivery leadership skills for managing milestones, budgets, and multiple OEM programs
  • Compliance knowledge with ASPICE Level 2+ (SWE1–SWE6) and internal development processes
  • Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines, automated build validation, and static analysis
  • Ability to lead and manage a team of 15–20 engineers, including defining roles, KPIs, mentoring, and fostering technical excellence
  • Skills in customer and stakeholder interaction, acting as primary technical interface for OEMs and Tier-1s

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end software development for Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and Projection (CarPlay / Android Auto / AAA) features
  • Manage feature design, integration, and testing across multiple Qualcomm-based Android platforms (SA8255 / SA8155 / SA8295)
  • Own Bluetooth stack integration including Classic, BLE, HFP, A2DP, AVRCP, PBAP, MAP, SPP, HID, and PAN profiles
  • Oversee Wi-Fi stack integration covering hotspot, STA, P2P, Soft-AP, tethering, and concurrent mode operation
  • Drive Projection software integration for Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and Google Automotive Assistant (AAA) ensuring functional and certification compliance
  • Ensure seamless audio, projection, and connectivity coexistence within the Android system
  • Define system-level architecture for Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and Projection subsystems and their interaction with Android framework layers
  • Ensure robust coexistence management between Bluetooth and Wi-Fi in concurrent operation scenarios
  • Coordinate with Audio and Telephony teams for routing, call handoff, and A2DP streaming optimization
  • Integrate Qualcomm connectivity SDKs (QCA / CNSS / WCN) into platform builds, ensuring stability and certification readiness
  • Drive technical feasibility analysis for new features and software evolution planning
  • Plan and manage software deliverables for multiple OEM infotainment programs, ensuring adherence to milestones and budgets
  • Maintain compliance with ASPICE Level 2+ (SWE1–SWE6) and internal development process standards
  • Implement CI/CD pipelines, automated build validation, and static analysis for connectivity and projection modules
  • Track software quality metrics – feature completion, defect trends, regression pass rate, and certification readiness
  • Drive resolution of interoperability and certification issues (BT SIG, Wi-Fi Alliance, CarPlay, Android Auto)
  • Manage NOK and field issues through root cause analysis and corrective actions
  • Lead a team of 15–20 engineers across Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and Projection software domains
  • Define roles, KPIs, and performance expectations for each team member
  • Foster a culture of technical excellence, collaboration, and continuous learning
  • Mentor technical leads on Android Connectivity Framework, Bluetooth stack debugging, and Wi-Fi firmware integration
  • Drive competency development through regular workshops, cross-training, and technology updates
  • Act as the primary technical interface to OEM and Tier-1 customers for connectivity and projection feature delivery
  • Represent the team in design reviews, technical audits, and certification processes
