Requirements

Experience leading engineering teams in designing, developing, and evolving high-performance trading infrastructure, particularly IOI (Indication of Interest) and AXE systems
Strong expertise in architecture and implementation of scalable, resilient systems handling millions of indications and axes daily, with focus on reliability, low latency, and observability
Proven ability to modernize legacy systems, adopting cloud-native and open-source technologies
Skills in implementing advanced observability frameworks, diagnostics, monitoring, and operational excellence standards
Experience with FIX connectivity, integration with OMS/EMS, and liquidity discovery mechanisms
Capability to lead cross-functional initiatives across engineering, product, and support teams globally, navigating time zones, cultures, and organizational structures
Visionary mindset to anticipate market trends, regulatory shifts, and client needs, translating them into engineering strategies
Ability to influence dozens of engineers and impact thousands of internal/external users
Passion for innovation, solving sophisticated problems, and working in a fast-paced environment combining finance and technology

Responsibilities

Lead the design, development, and evolution of IOI and AXE infrastructure for scalable, resilient, high-performance trading workflows across asset classes and geographies
Own the architecture and implementation of systems for liquidity discovery and dealer connectivity
Collaborate across engineering, product, and support teams globally to ensure high-performing, operationally resilient trading platforms
Drive cross-functional initiatives spanning multiple teams and products
Set strategic direction for connectivity and distribution, re-architecting legacy systems
Adopt cloud-native and open-source technologies to modernize infrastructure
Implement advanced observability frameworks to improve transparency, performance, and scalability
Ensure alignment with firm-wide standards for diagnostics, monitoring, and operational excellence
Integrate observability into every layer of the IOI/AXE stack for real-time insights and enhanced reliability/user experience
Shape the future of liquidity infrastructure in Aladdin, influencing dissemination of IOIs/axes and system scalability/adaptability
