Requirements

Candidates are expected to have 5-10 years of experience with programming languages, with Python required, and a strong interest in learning new languages. They should possess project management skills, particularly for complex products used by non-technical users, and the ability to quickly learn new technologies, processes, and systems, along with the capacity to make recommendations that support the teams. Familiarity with large, scalable back-end systems and databases, as well as experience with security and compliance implementations and data management best practices, is also necessary.

Responsibilities

The Engineering Team Lead will manage and execute on software engineering projects including API development, integrations with partners, database structure development, and data flow management, creating new tools and features to support the B2B team and partners. They will collaborate with teams across Sales, Marketing, and Business Development to improve processes and implement new systems, oversee and mentor junior developers, develop dashboards and reporting on internal metrics, partner with the CTO on developing compliance policy and technical security structures, and support the CTO and CEO on strategic initiatives and ad hoc projects as needed.
