Requirements

7+ years of engineering experience, including hands-on coding and team leadership
Experience managing a small team (1–5 engineers)
Known for technical excellence and trusted by peers for judgment and execution
Deeply knowledgeable about deploying Cloud infrastructure in a modern and scalable way, utilizing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and GitOps tooling (e.g. Argo CD, Kargo, etc.)
Comfortable rolling up your sleeves to code, debug, and unblock

Responsibilities

Lead and grow our Infrastructure Engineering team
Own all customer-facing infrastructure deployments including single-tenant deployments on GCP, AWS, and multi-cloud architecture
Partner closely with Core Engineering and AI teams to deliver features at scale across all customer deployments
Mentor, coach, and up-level engineers while still writing and reviewing code
Establish and maintain engineering best practices that improve speed, stability, and polish
Recruit and develop future tech leads as the team scales
Co-own the infrastructure roadmap, design and ship infrastructure yourself, and build trust with the team (30 days)
Achieve clear ownership of infrastructure areas, faster release velocity, and tighter engineering best practices (90 days)
Build an 8+ person infrastructure engineering org with strong leads, a recruiting flywheel, and a product that rivals the best SaaS experiences (12 months)
