Position Overview

We are looking for an Engineering Manager to lead our Enterprise Integrations team at Zapier. This team builds and maintains critical integrations within Zapier and partners closely with customer-facing teams to stay on the cutting edge of customer needs.

Team Mission

The Enterprise Integrations team's mission includes:

• Building and maintaining some of the most important integrations in the Zapier product.
• Collaborating with Customer Success, Support, and Sales teams to understand and invest in the most relevant integrations securing our most valuable deals.
• Ensuring continued customer satisfaction by quickly resolving any issues using these integrations.

About You

You are an effective team builder and a skilled engineering leader with at least two years of experience managing a cross-functional team of engineers (frontend, full stack, and backend). You know how to hire, train, and develop engineers from all backgrounds and understand the benefits of building a diverse and inclusive engineering team.

You contribute to design discussions, review code, and establish quality standards for your team. A solid grasp of engineering skills and practical understanding of software development practices are essential. You maintain a strategic view, understanding the current state and anticipating future developments.
• Embraces Change & Seeks Leverage: Zapier is growing, with Enterprise at the forefront. You are comfortable leading change and see opportunities to build a more capable company, navigating short-term uncertainty.
• Excellent Communication Skills: You regularly work with engineers and stakeholders from various disciplines, balancing engineering concerns (like technical debt) with product concerns. You find solutions that address both team and user needs, or help build understanding when trade-offs are necessary.
