Responsibilities

Lead the Ads Data Platform team to build performant, reliable, and efficient platforms and end-user tools for Reddit Ads data
Drive unification of fragmented data usage/integration patterns across Ads teams (e.g., dataset enrichment, data processing tools)
Centralize reusable tools/components for Ads engineering, leveraging core-infrastructure services (e.g., owning Spark infra on Kubernetes)
Optimize efficiency in development lifecycle and resource usage, driving adoption and migration to optimized data infrastructure
Ensure adherence to guiding principles: build on Reddit Core Infrastructure, follow DevX best practices, adopt open source, prefer in-house solutions, prioritize scalability/reliability/efficiency
Focus on strategic areas: data infrastructure platforms/tools, reliability (systems maturity tracking, developer efficiency, operational burden reduction), and efficiency
