Hands-on experience in developing APIs, agents and LLMs, data modeling, and scaling distributed systems

6+ years of software engineering experience building scalable solutions
1+ years managing high-performing teams
Experience working in a fast-paced, early-stage environment, with the ability to thrive amid ambiguity
Experience with agents, LLMs, distributed systems, API design, React, Node.js, PostgreSQL, Redis, Kafka, GCP, or equivalent technologies

Responsibilities

Lead, mentor, and grow a team of high-performing engineers
Architect and oversee the development of applications, APIs, and distributed systems
Own architectural decisions for the tech platform, advising on key product and infrastructure strategies
Be hands-on with the codebase 50-70% of the time, providing technical guidance and support
Develop and maintain analytics, monitoring, and logging infrastructure to improve user experience and system health
Collaborate across Product, Design, Sales, Marketing, and Operations to deliver a top-notch service and product experience
Contribute in many other ways to the agile founding team, building the future of flexible light industrial staffing
Partner with the Director of Engineering and CTO, making key architectural and product decisions, and driving the technical vision and execution of the team
