Requirements

Candidates must hold a minimum Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, and a Professional Engineer’s (PE) license or equivalent CEng license is preferred. They should possess effective computer skills, including Microsoft Office software and discipline-specific applications such as HYSYS and Aspen Plus, and be skilled in the application of relevant major design codes and standards. Maintaining a Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) card in good standing is also required.

Responsibilities

The Lead Engineer, Process will support the development and progression of the Ready for Operations (RFO) schedule, provide daily support to plant Production personnel in troubleshooting process issues, develop comprehensive Operations and Engineering procedures, offer Process Engineering support for plant shutdowns/turnarounds, perform economic evaluations of equipment alternatives, support process improvement studies, and develop process simulations for process units. They will also modify process simulation models and provide support for process monitoring tools to enhance production and efficiency performance.
