Candidates should possess several years of experience with large-scale, business-critical Linux-based environments and experience operating within public/hybrid clouds such as Amazon Web Services (AWS), Google Cloud Platform (GCP), or Azure. They should have expertise in Kubernetes or similar containerization systems, along with proficiency in CI/CD tools like Jenkins, version control systems like Git, and artifact repositories such as Artifactory and Bitbucket. Furthermore, candidates must be skilled in scripting languages like Bash and Python, and possess experience with configuration management tools like Chef and Ansible.
As a DevOps Engineer, the individual will research and iterate on system and application configurations for optimization and reliability, build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for testing and releasing configuration and software, automate tasks and develop tools to increase engineering efficiency and visibility, manage secure, well-tested, and high-quality infrastructure, and work closely with Engineering and Customer Support to troubleshoot time-sensitive production issues.
