Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
  • Good understanding of at least one programming language (e.g., Java, Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, C#)
  • Strong fundamentals in Data Structures and Algorithms
  • Basic knowledge of SDLC / STLC
  • Familiar with Git; exposure to CI/CD (e.g., Azure DevOps/GitHub Actions) is a plus
  • Familiarity with Agile practices is a plus
  • Clear communication and a collaborative, curious outlook
  • Nice to Have: Academic/industry exposure to test automation frameworks or tools
  • Nice to Have: Domain familiarity in Biology, Chemistry, Proteomics, or Mass Spectrometry

Responsibilities

  • Design, code, and maintain resilient automated tests from acceptance criteria
  • Execute test suites, analyse results, and file/track defects
  • Contribute to test frameworks/utilities (e.g., Playwright/Test complete, TestNG, Rest-Assured, K6/Locust)
  • Participate in scrums, reviews, and retros, surface risks early
  • Learn the product’s technical architecture, design principles, and specifications
  • Continuously grow expertise in testing tools, best practices, frameworks, and methodologies
