Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, preferably Mechanical/Industrial/Petroleum
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in Design Engineering
  • Familiar with applying knowledge from industry standards (ASME, ASTM, ISO, API, etc.) when designing products
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience with 3D models and 2D machine detail drawings using CAD software
  • Good oral and written communication skills
  • Good interpersonal and leadership skills
  • Ability to coordinate several projects simultaneously
  • Ability to apply thorough knowledge of engineering and drafting standards, codes, and regulations affecting particular disciplines or drafting projects
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams within a global-matrix environment across different time zones
  • Self-starter, proactively taking the initiative to identify and solve problems
  • Excellent report writing and presentation skills and ability to articulate technical information clearly

Responsibilities

  • Develop Surface Wellhead and Tree final engineering design which fits the needs of the client while emphasizing proven technologies and existing solutions
  • Generate designs, machine detail drawings, stack up drawings, Bill of Material, calculations, engineering part information, and Field Service Manual, to meet customer requirements and industry standard (API6A), with guidance from senior engineering resources
  • Ensure engineering deliverables are completed within the agreed timeline
  • Design test fixtures for pressure/load test following company standards
  • Perform Technical Publishing activity related to Field Service Manuals
  • Involved in analytical and design activities using proven technologies and vested approaches and methods
  • Employ the best combination of all preliminary information and contributing data to develop final design
