Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, preferably with specialization in Power Systems
  • Three (3) to ten (10) years’ experience working as an Engineer in a process plant environment (preferred)
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office 365 Application Suite
  • Familiarity with Power Systems Modelling Tools such as ETAP/SKM (preferable)

Responsibilities

  • Develop knowledge and understanding of the complete Plant Electrical System, including equipment such as Switchgears (138kV, 4.16kV, 480V), Motor Control Centers (MCC), Uninterruptable Power Supplies (UPS), Transformers, Energy Management Systems (EMS/SCADA), and Electrical System Studies
  • Support the development and maintenance of Company Procedures & Processes
  • Support the development and maintenance of Key Performance Indicators & Metrics for Electrical
  • Support the development and maintenance of Electrical drawings and databases
  • Support with the Management of Change (MOC) process
  • Support Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA) process
  • Support Process Hazard Analysis (PHA) risk assessments
  • Provide day-to-day troubleshooting support to Operations & Maintenance Groups
