Requirements

  • Degree or equivalent qualified in an Engineering discipline
  • Experience in Python programming language
  • Previous experience on Low-level data manipulation (binary and bitwise operations)
  • Comfortable working with Linux and the command line
  • Exposure to Modbus communication protocol / Cloud-based virtual machines / Microsoft Azure / Software revision control (Git)
  • Able to have a clear and structured documentation of work
  • Comfortable to do independent research, learning and problem-solving
  • Effective and professional communication with technical and non-technical colleagues

Responsibilities

  • Developing skills to make work decisions, apply concepts to issues of moderate complexity, and resolve issues through immediate action or short-term planning
  • Developing and implementing control logic, instrumentation, hardware and software solutions, including human interfaces which govern complex systems often consisting of static and dynamic electrical and mechanical components, sensors and communications interfaces
  • Delivering engineering and scientific efforts related to the design of new products and services and new designs for customer projects
  • Delivering projects through the design, verification, production and, if required, commercialization stages
  • Coordinating closely with Discipline, Research, and Testing teams as needed
