Requirements
Intermediate level knowledge and proficiency in applying engineering theory and analytical techniques to solve diverse problems and complete extensive analysis
Competency in analytical techniques for assignments of moderate complexity (e.g., dividing problems into steps and performing necessary analysis)
Ability to understand interrelationships between systems and component equipment
Ability to analyze and recommend enhancements to business processes
Coordinates work activities of others within work group, department, or corporate entity for routine activities
Performs routine engineering activity with minimum direction from higher-level employees

Responsibilities
Perform engineering work activities and projects requiring application of engineering knowledge in a safe, effective, efficient, and economic manner
Conduct engineering and design work for transmission line design, including engineering analysis/design, route selection, material acquisition, structural/foundation design, project/construction management
Prepare project construction documents: plan/profile drawings, design drawings, engineering/material/construction specifications, project schedules, bills of material
Communicate effectively verbally and in writing to ensure on-schedule, on-budget project performance
Develop transmission line designs and cost estimates for proposed projects
Work with internal/external customers, government/regulatory agencies, contractors to secure permits, refine design alternatives, and complete liaison activities
Conduct bid and construction meetings as needed
Collaborate with Project Management, Substation design, Distribution, Supply Chain, and Right of Way as required
