Requirements
Working knowledge of Java / Groovy, Spring, any Unit testing framework (Junit, Mockito etc), Maven, GIT, REST API development / consumption and Agile methodologies
Good to be familiar with any one CI / CD tools like TeamCity, Jenkins, Concourse etc
Nice to have knowledge: AWS and Python
Displays knowledge of engineering methodologies, concepts, skills, and their application in the area of specified engineering specialty
Displays knowledge of, and ability to apply, process design and redesign skills
Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance
Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) as necessary
Responsibilities
Planning and designing new software and web applications
Editing new and existing applications
Implementing, testing and debugging defined software components
Documenting all development activity
Analyzes and determines integration needs
Contribute to the design and implementation of components and solutions for customer-specific consulting services agreements
Work in collaboration with Solution Architects, Project Management, and globally distributed engineering teams
Design-review solutions to ensure best practices, avoid performance bottlenecks and identify improvements to workflows
Refining toolsets and contributing to improvements to process and delivery frameworks
Assist in unit testing, performance testing, on-site installations, and application configuration
Integrating and ingesting large data sets from customers into core products
Handling many types of integrations and bespoke needs for clients to connect, migrate, and export data and meta-data between systems
Taking a client facing approach, participating in client workshops across the lifecycle of a customer engagement
Working with globally distributed support teams to resolve production issues (3rd line support)
Develop robust ingest scripts to translate customer-specific metadata into core objects
Develop utility scripts to accomplish customer-specific requirements
Create, maintain, and document customer implementations
