Requirements

Hands-on experience with Fortinet SD-WAN solutions (highly preferred), along with exposure to Cisco and Juniper routing platforms
Strong understanding of internetworking design principles, routing, and their practical applications
Familiarity with Layer 2 and Layer 3 internetworking technologies
Several years of experience working with common networking protocols
Experience with firewalls such as Fortinet (60F/80F/100F/400F/1800F), Cisco ASA, Juniper SRX, Checkpoint NG, or similar platforms
Experience with Cisco switching and routing environments
Relevant certifications (e.g., Fortinet NSE levels, CCNA, CCNP) are a plus; advanced certifications (e.g., Fortinet Expert, CCIE) are preferred but not required
Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance
Regular, consistent and punctual attendance; ability to work nights, weekends, variable schedules, and overtime as necessary
Understand and apply Operating Principles; own the customer experience; be knowledgeable about technology, products, and services; win as a team; participate in Net Promoter System; drive results and growth; support inclusion; do what's right for stakeholders

Responsibilities

Provide high-level customer-facing engineering support focused on Installation Support and Day 2 Service Assurance Support
Design, configure, and deploy LAN and WAN network connections, hardware, software, communication links, and services on IP router/switch/firewall/SDWAN customer premises equipment
Optimize network and systems services and troubleshoot network performance issues
Service provision and monitoring of network infrastructure to company standards
Work directly with customers to troubleshoot and resolve network issues
Serve as a technical point of contact for other internal engineers
Other duties and responsibilities as assigned
