Application of techniques, practices, and procedures to solve complex projects/problems with minimal supervision, analysis, and initiative
Knowledge of project management tools/methods (e.g., Kaizen, VIP, EMS, CAPEX for capacity projects)
Expertise in statistical process control, data analysis (variables over attributes)
Skills in continuous improvement analysis (methods, measurement, machinery, maintenance, materials) using time/motion studies, workstation design, assembly optimization

Responsibilities

Develop work plans (planning and administration) for executing industrial projects and transfers in manufacturing, molding, extrusion, automation, packaging, and sterilization areas
Participate in pilot projects or transfers of new processes/products, including product/process validations
Transfer/establish optimal, productive, capable processes and process controls in all facets of new or existing manufacturing processes
Train and capacitate production and quality personnel during process transfers or continuous improvement
Manage and implement manufacturing projects and product/process transfers from conception/integration/development to mass implementation/industrialization
Implement product/process changes within area of expertise via initiation, administration, or participation in change control plans
Plan and schedule activities and resources for assigned projects
Administer improvement projects (e.g., Kaizen, VIP, EMS)
Administer capacity projects, including management, administration, and implementation (CAPEX)
Develop and execute process control programs, maximizing statistical control via variable data analysis
Drive continuous improvement through process analysis (methods/measurement, machinery, maintenance, materials), time/motion studies, workstation design, movement simplification, and assembly optimization
Periodically report progress of activities in area of specialization to ensure adherence to master program and achievement of plant metrics/goals
Maintain standards of operation (SOP) and departmental policies
