Candidates should possess an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) license or Medical Doctorate (MD) with board certification in Emergency Medicine. A minimum of three years of experience as an APRN or MD in an Emergency Medicine setting is required, along with demonstrated knowledge of emergency medicine principles and practices.
The Emergency Medicine Advanced Practice Provider will provide direct patient care, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of patients in the Emergency Department. They will also be responsible for ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, prescribing medications, and collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Additionally, the APP will participate in quality improvement initiatives, provide education to patients and families, and contribute to the overall operational efficiency of the Emergency Department.
