Emergency Medical Services (EMS) Dispatcher - EST hours (Remote) at A1M Solutions

Yes, this is a fully remote working role.

The position requires flexibility to work rotational 12-hour shifts, typically scheduled on Sundays, Mondays, and Tuesdays, as well as every second Saturday, with variations based on operational requirements. You must also work on all South African public holidays and will be compensated per the Basic Conditions of Employment Act (BCEA).

Key requirements include customer service skills, ability to prioritize multiple tasks and work independently or as a team, competent radio communication skills, and excellent English communication skills (written and verbal). Experience in the healthcare industry or dispatch/coordination is beneficial.

A fixed fibre line with a minimum speed of 25 Mbps (upload & download) supporting a wired Ethernet connection is mandatory, and a reliable power backup solution is required to manage load shedding and power outages. Applicants without these cannot be considered.
