Requirements

  • B.Sc and/or M.Sc degree, preferred in Supply Chain Management, Logistics
  • Minimum 5 years of experience working in the area of logistics operations or freight management
  • Excellent knowledge in Excel and other MS Office Programs
  • Experience in customs regimes and documentation
  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
  • Ability to work under time pressure
  • Excellent knowledge of English both verbal and in written
  • Knowledge of Project Management tools and methods
  • Experience in working with dispersed Teams with various cultural and professional backgrounds

Responsibilities

  • Manage logistics operations for the Region
  • Manage trade operations related to material flow within EMEA network
  • Manage operations related to all intercontinental flows for the Region
  • Monitor logistics performance for the Region
  • Monitor logistic provider performance and actively work with logistics providers and Aptiv Teams to improve logistics performance
  • Identify, develop and implement opportunities impacting performance metrics, efficiencies, costs and controls of the Logistics Supply Chain
  • Prepare guidelines and SOP related to the network operational management
  • Work with Aptiv Plant Teams and provide them with constant training and coaching
  • Support Aptiv Teams in case of escalations and performance issues with logistics service providers
  • Cooperation with various functions across company
