The role follows a continental shift schedule with monthly rotation between days and nights, including weekends.
A high school diploma or GED is required, along with an Ontario Electrical License (442A or 309A). An Electronic Technician Certificate is an asset.
Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience with Allen Bradley, Siemens, Omron PLC’s and Variable in a controlled and regulated environment is required.
Candidates need familiarity with GMPs, GAMP4/5 and 21 CFR part 11, superior communication skills, attention to detail, troubleshooting abilities, multitasking in a fast-paced environment, and proficiency with Microsoft Office.
Responsibilities include performing preventative maintenance and troubleshooting electronic components, electrical/electronics upgrades, calibration of sensors and instrumentation, maintaining PLC programming and automation systems, documenting work in CMMS, and ensuring a safe working environment.
