Requirements
- Five (5) or more years of previous electrical experience (industrial/commercial); Journeyman Electrician level
- Appropriate state driver’s license if driving company vehicle
- Maintain Starr Electric minimum tool list
- Ability to arrive and depart to and from jobsites (reliable transportation)
- Pass all criminal record and drug testing requirements
- High School education, High School graduate, GED, or Vocational Background (preferred)
- Complete on-the-job training as required
- Ability to read and write English to effectively communicate
Responsibilities
- Perform duties related to the installation, alteration, repair, replacement, and maintenance of electrical systems, conductors, and associated materials and equipment
- Meet strict daily and weekly project deadlines
- Perform tasks independently or as a team under limited supervision
- Supervise work performed by others
- Report to Leadman, Foreman, or Superintendent as assigned
- Prohibited from working on energized circuits or equipment or within the limited approach boundary if unqualified, per NFPA 70-E current version
