Requirements

  • Five (5) or more years of previous electrical experience (industrial/commercial); Journeyman Electrician level
  • Appropriate state driver’s license if driving company vehicle
  • Maintain Starr Electric minimum tool list
  • Ability to arrive and depart to and from jobsites (reliable transportation)
  • Pass all criminal record and drug testing requirements
  • High School education, High School graduate, GED, or Vocational Background (preferred)
  • Complete on-the-job training as required
  • Ability to read and write English to effectively communicate

Responsibilities

  • Perform duties related to the installation, alteration, repair, replacement, and maintenance of electrical systems, conductors, and associated materials and equipment
  • Meet strict daily and weekly project deadlines
  • Perform tasks independently or as a team under limited supervision
  • Supervise work performed by others
  • Report to Leadman, Foreman, or Superintendent as assigned
  • Prohibited from working on energized circuits or equipment or within the limited approach boundary if unqualified, per NFPA 70-E current version
