Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering (electrical preferred)
  • 1+ years of industrial engineering experience, including hands-on work with manufacturing floors or equipment
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D required)
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, including both desk-based design (30%), field installation (30%) activities, and manufacturing floor activities (35%), and willingness to work in challenging environments (e.g., high heat, under equipment)
  • Familiar with OSHA and local safety regulations, ensuring compliance in all engineering activities
  • Ability to travel – 10%, in supporting other Cytiva manufacturing sites, as well as factory acceptance tests
  • Must have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record

Responsibilities

  • Provide programming support, troubleshoot electrical systems, and select components for engineering projects
  • Design and manage vendor relationships for membrane manufacturing equipment
  • Lead or collaborate with cross-functional teams across all phases: concept, design, procurement, installation, and qualification
  • Create detailed electrical documentation and supervise contractors to ensure quality and efficiency
  • Support equipment installation qualification and drive continuous performance and reliability improvements
