Requirements

B.S. or M.S. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field
0-3 years of experience in hardware engineering, preferably with exposure to complex electronic systems (relevant internships and academic projects will be considered)
Familiarity with basic electronic components, circuits, and test equipment (e.g., oscilloscopes, multimeters, power supplies)
Exposure to schematic capture and PCB layout software (e.g., Altium, Cadence/Orcad)
Understanding of microcontroller basics and common communication interfaces (e.g., UART, SPI, I2C)
Strong problem-solving skills and a hands-on approach to engineering challenges
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
A strong desire to learn and contribute in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Passion for space technology and its potential impact

Responsibilities

Contribute to the design and development of electrical systems for spacecraft avionics, including areas such as flight computers, power distribution, guidance and navigation, sensors, actuators, and communication systems
Participate in schematic capture and PCB layout with the guidance of senior engineers
Assist in the bring-up, testing, and validation of newly designed hardware
Collaborate with software engineers on the integration and testing of hardware and software components
Build and test early hardware prototypes to evaluate design concepts and mitigate risks
Work cross-functionally with mechanical, software, systems, and production teams to ensure successful integration and manufacturability of hardware
Contribute to the creation of design documentation, test procedures, and reports
Participate in design reviews and provide constructive feedback
