Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Software Engineering, or approved equivalent
  • Experience in software programming for PLC Equipment, IOT, or other devices for data collection

Responsibilities

  • Create, modify, and check equipment software to meet equipment process specifications, including budget and project timing
  • Create and maintain equipment forms and documentation, including schematics, software, maintenance manual, and spare parts
  • Develop and present Technical Equipment Design Review materials to the group during program development phases, based on standards or R&D items
  • Conduct feasibility studies on new designs and validation of equipment for production robustness
  • Guide support personnel in the preparation of detailed design, design testing, and prototype fabrication
  • Attend program meetings to report equipment program status, issues, and proposed solutions
  • Provide electrical schematics and review with suppliers to complete equipment setup for the desired process
  • Electrically test parts for function review and customer build events
  • Perform electrical circuit analysis of client products to determine the cause of failure and improvements
  • Perform other related duties as required
