Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a B.S. program in Electrical Engineering or a related field
- Strong problem-solving skills and technical aptitude
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Effective team player who can also work independently
- Strong communication skills and eagerness to learn from experienced engineers
- Proficiency with MS Office and general computer literacy
- Valid driver’s license and flexibility to travel if required
Responsibilities
- Support electrical engineering contractors with renewable facility design, including reviewing drawings, specifications, and RFIs
- Assist project managers with preliminary design of low voltage systems, collection systems, and substations
- Contribute to the development and updates of electrical specifications and standards for contractors
- Assist with preparing bid packages and evaluating contractor and supplier proposals
- Review electrical equipment and material proposals and prepare bid tab evaluations
- Take on additional engineering support tasks as assigned
