Requirements

Bachelor’s degree (B.S./B.A.) from four-year college or university and 0 to 2 years’ related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Builds stable working relationships internally
Follows standard practice and procedures when analyzing situations or data
Basic understanding of applicable codes
Understanding of design and calculation software
Ability to learn how to lay out portions of the electrical systems for projects
Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a team environment with purchasing, quality assurance, manufacturing, and engineering personnel
Communicate effectively in English, in both oral and written forms
Knowledgeable in electrical and electronic engineering principles
Ability to perform office-related tasks which may include prolonged sitting or standing
Ability to move from place to place within an office environment
Ability to use a computer
Ability to communicate effectively
Some positions may require occasional repetitive motion or movements of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers

Responsibilities

Establish system design of lighting, power, systems, and technology
Coordinate design with a project manager, senior team members, and outside design consultants
Participate in QA/QC process for your work and the work of others
Assist in the determination of project scheduling requirements and project budgets
Perform construction administration and field investigation tasks for assigned projects, including conducting field inspections and subsequent detailed inspection reports
Assist in processing RFIs, change orders, bulletins, and addenda
Research equipment selections, and complete equipment schedules
Document existing conditions
Other duties as required
