Requirements

  • Minimum B.S. in electrical engineering with high voltage experience, specialized in power electronics preferred
  • 3+ years experience preferred
  • Understanding of power electronics knowledge, such as AC/DC, DC/DC and DC/AC converters, motor control, etc
  • 12+ months experience of design, integration and evaluation of any high voltage power system – solar inverter, motor drives, EV charger, data center system, and/or energy storage system products preferred
  • Experience with UL compliance and regulations test
  • Experience of PCBA schematic and layout using Altium designer preferred

Responsibilities

  • Apply basic electrical wiring designs and practices for data center systems
  • Evaluate the trade-offs of various products and combine them together based on customer requirements – including solar converter, generators, energy storage, data center product, etc
  • Produce accurate drawings such as one-line diagrams, wire harnesses, electrical installations based on customer specifications
  • Create test plans, perform system level evaluation and root cause analysis for any failures
  • Create system level operation procedure, electrical drawings to support system level installation and evaluation
  • Designing of low voltage PCBA board to be used in data center system
  • Apply knowledge of basics understanding of electrical engineering to improve the system level protection mechanism and enhance the system reliability
