Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited program
  • Active Professional Engineer (PE) license
  • 5+ years of relevant electrical engineering experience

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop electrical systems for new construction and renovation projects, including power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, telecommunications, and other low-voltage systems
  • Prepare and seal electrical construction documents, specifications, and reports in compliance with applicable codes and standards (NEC, NFPA, IBC, etc.)
  • Perform load calculations, arc flash studies, and short-circuit analyses using appropriate software tools
  • Review and approve submittals, RFIs, and shop drawings; conduct field investigations and site visits
  • Lead or support project teams and collaborate with architects, engineers, contractors, and clients throughout the design and construction process
  • Ensure all work meets professional engineering standards, safety regulations, and client requirements
