Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in an accredited Engineering curriculum (Electrical, Computer, Mechatronics or Mechanical)
  • Intermediate-Advanced English level

Responsibilities

  • Overseeing compliance with development processes and regulations for electrical and electronic systems and components
  • Ability to meet NPI and NTI milestones for each program by delivering quality components/platforms on time that meet agreed upon features, including completion of CV, DV, PV and PPAP validation phases, postproduction component and application support, and cost reduction
  • Investigating and troubleshooting all technical issues related to electrical and electronic systems and components
  • Managing and negotiating with electrical and electronic equipment vendors for the development of systems and components
  • Mentoring technicians and engineers in the development of electrical and electronic systems and components
  • Working closely with Engine and Machine System/Subsystem team members to understand application requirements and performance needs
  • Coordinating embedded software development with appropriate teams for relevant components
  • Maintaining and supporting current production hardware through the platform lifecycle, including obsolescence management
  • Design, development, and testing of electrical and/or electronic components for use within machines and engine systems
  • Partnering with suppliers to deliver production components and helping systems engineers integrate successfully into various applications
