Responsibilities

  • Participate on a team to pack products received from making areas or finished products, manually or with machines/robots
  • Act as System Owner or Equipment Owner for the area
  • Operate and maintain equipment in the area
  • Enable production throughput and reduce equipment downtime
  • Troubleshoot issues and eliminate defects
  • Build technical mastery
  • Initiate and implement continuous improvement projects to deliver best product at lowest cost, highest quality, and in a safe environment
  • Maintain and troubleshoot high-speed packing, process, and utilities power & controls equipment
  • Use electrical test equipment to diagnose electrical problems
  • Perform preventive maintenance and calibrations on equipment
  • Troubleshoot, monitor, and program PLC, SCADA, and HMI systems
  • Troubleshoot and monitor variable frequency drives, servo control systems, and robotics
  • Troubleshoot and repair machine and process control equipment
  • Analyze trends and technical data to proactively identify issues in controls
  • Build technical skills in others
  • Operate and maintain high-speed automated equipment, computer systems, or product distribution systems
