Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Education, Instructional Design, or a related field (required); advanced degree preferred
5+ years in EHSS training or program management, with strong background in manufacturing or industrial environments
Industry certifications (e.g., CSP, CHMM, OSHA Outreach Trainer) highly desirable
Deep understanding of EHSS regulations and best practices
Proven ability to lead enterprise-wide training initiatives
Expertise in instructional design and adult learning principles
Proficiency in eLearning development tools (e.g., Articulate, Adobe Captivate) and LMS platforms
Strong communication, leadership, and project management skills
Passion for continuous improvement, innovation, and building safe, sustainable manufacturing systems
Highly adaptable and proactive, excelling in fast-paced start-up and new model launch environments
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Willingness to relocate to Warsaw, Indiana (relocation assistance provided)
Ability to travel up to 25%
Physical ability for office-based work with frequent manufacturing site visits, including standing, walking, and demonstrating safety procedures

Responsibilities

Develop and execute a long-term EHSS training roadmap aligned with organizational goals, regulatory requirements, and operational needs
Own and deliver the EHSS component of new hire onboarding across manufacturing sites, ensuring consistent, high-quality orientation
Design and implement technical training programs that prepare employees for safe and effective performance in manufacturing environments
Lead the creation of standardized, role-specific training modules for EHSS topics, including ergonomics, chemical safety, machine safety, and emergency response
Develop engaging digital learning content using eLearning tools and integrate multimedia, simulations, and assessments
Facilitate in-person and virtual training sessions across shifts and locations, adapting delivery methods to meet diverse learner needs
Manage enterprise-wide EHSS learning management system (LMS) content, course assignments, and training metrics reporting
Ensure training programs meet OSHA, EPA, and other regulatory standards; maintain accurate records and audit readiness
Partner with HR, Operations, and EHSS teams to assess training needs, align initiatives, and support continuous improvement
Monitor training effectiveness through feedback, performance data, and incident trends; use insights to refine content and delivery
