Requirements

Diploma in Hoger Veiligheidskunde (Higher Safety Studies)
Minimum of three years experience in a similar role
Preferably experience in a technical process environment, such as the pharmaceutical industry
Up-to-date knowledge of relevant laws and regulations, standards like ISO 14001 and ISO 45001, and ability to apply them
Proficiency in Dutch and English (spoken and written)
Strong communicator who can address people directly and listen well

Responsibilities

Implement and monitor compliance with regulations and Abbott Technical EHS standards
Support ISO 45001 Management System activities
Assess all technical projects for compliance with safety elements and opportunities to prevent accidents
Conduct risk assessments (process safety, machine guarding, fall protection, chemical risks, etc.)
Perform inspections, internal audits, and safety rounds to monitor site safety performance
Lead incident investigations and prepare reports
