Requirements

  • Diploma in Hoger Veiligheidskunde (Higher Safety Studies)
  • Minimum of three years experience in a similar role
  • Preferably experience in a technical process environment, such as the pharmaceutical industry
  • Up-to-date knowledge of relevant laws and regulations, standards like ISO 14001 and ISO 45001, and ability to apply them
  • Proficiency in Dutch and English (spoken and written)
  • Strong communicator who can address people directly and listen well
  • Team player who works in a structured, planned manner and is continuously improvement-oriented
  • Stands firm in challenging situations

Responsibilities

  • Implement and monitor compliance with regulations and Abbott Technical EHS standards
  • Support ISO 45001 Management System activities
  • Assess all technical projects for compliance with safety elements and opportunities to prevent accidents
  • Conduct risk assessments (process safety, machine guarding, fall protection, chemical risks, etc.)
  • Perform inspections, internal audits, and safety rounds to monitor site safety performance
  • Lead incident investigations and prepare reports
