Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, Environmental Health/Sciences, or Industrial Hygiene
  • 5+ years' EHS experience
  • Strong working knowledge of EHS regulations and standards
  • Ability to write procedures, policies, reports, and correspondence
  • Comfortable delivering presentations and effective communicator
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety regulations, procedures, and policies
  • Very good interpersonal skills and ability to work well with individuals and teams
  • Proficient in the use of Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Outlook
  • CSP or CIH preferred
  • Able to lift 40 lbs. without assistance
  • Adherence to all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) Safety Standards
  • Compliance with Cleanroom requirements (no hair products, jewelry, makeup, nail polish, perfume, exposed piercings, facial hair etc.)

Responsibilities

  • Partner and collaborate with other departments to develop and implement EHS-related programs and apply risk assessment methods to address problems and provide solutions
  • Provide support and expertise on EHS programs across labs, warehouse, operation, engineering, facilities, and construction projects
  • Manage programs including: Regulated Waste Management, Chemical & Biological Safety, Incident Management, Laboratory Safety, Risk Assessment, Emergency Planning, Hazard Communication, Electrical Safety, Fall Protection, Powered Industrial Trucks, Lockout/Tagout, Personal Protective Equipment, and Contractor EHS Management
