Responsibilities

  • Developing risk reduction initiatives and supporting employees and leadership in identifying and implementing safety improvements
  • Organizing and coordinating EHS development programs, monitoring progress, and ensuring safe operations in compliance with Huntsman standards and local regulations
  • Overseeing safety-conscious operations in occupational safety, fire protection, and disaster management
  • Maintaining communication with relevant authorities and collaborating with internal departments on EHS and industrial safety matters
  • Participating in incident investigations, ensuring proper handling according to standards and regulations, and following up on corrective actions
  • Taking part in internal and external audits and official inspections
  • Ensuring EHS procedures and instructions are up-to-date and followed by all personnel
  • Supporting EHS risk management and promoting a strong safety culture
  • Enhancing employees’ hazard awareness and risk recognition through the “Zero Harm” program
  • Monitoring contractor compliance with Huntsman’s EHS requirements
  • Preparing, updating, and conducting occupational safety and fire protection training
