Requirements

Candidates must have demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously with excellent attention to detail, and be comfortable working in a remote environment with strong communication and time management skills. They should have experience supporting editorial or digital content teams in an assistant or production role, a high level of comfort with learning new systems, and familiarity with CMS platforms, Google Docs/Sheets, basic content formatting, and basic SEO practices. An open mind towards AI in workflows and content creation is also required, along with 1+ years of experience supporting editorial or content production teams in a fast-paced digital media or performance marketing environment.

Responsibilities

The Editorial Assistant will support the FinanceBuzz staff in producing high-quality content, focusing on SEO content creation. Responsibilities include assisting with the daily publishing process by formatting posts, adding visuals and HTML tables, and publishing content. They will also update published content for accuracy, monetization, SEO, and reader experience, update data in internal tools, ensure compliance requirements are applied to content, assist with documentation development and maintenance, and help with fact-checking and copyediting. The role involves working closely with the Editorial Team to improve skills and contributing to the FinanceBuzz brand as a top personal finance resource.
