  • Majors in Biomedical Engineering, Image Processing & Algorithms, Software Development/Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related fields (detailed list: Electrical Engineering - analog/digital circuit design, embedded systems, power electronics, FPGA, embedded software programming, motion control, familiar with design/simulation tools; Mechanical Engineering - structural design, chassis/cabinet design, motion mechanisms, suspension design, statics/dynamics simulation, proficient in Pro-E or SolidWorks; Software & Computer Engineering - software engineering, computer science, biomedical engineering, image processing, electronics engineering, communications engineering, proficient in Java, C/C++, Python, knowledge of micro-service architecture, Linux OS; Image Processing & Algorithms - biomedical engineering (instrument design), electronics engineering, communications engineering, modeling/algorithms, image processing/optimization/reconstruction, machine learning, deep learning, advanced mathematics, physics, proficient in Matlab or Python; System Design - biomedical engineering (instrument design), interdisciplinary medical-engineering, engineering physics, advanced mathematics, statistics, cross-disciplinary or dual-degree STEM graduates; Industrial Design - human-machine interaction design, user experience research)
