Experience in galenic research/development (Senior/Pleno level implied)
Knowledge of “Quality by Design”, “DoE” (Design of Experiments), and “PAT” (Process Analytical Technology)
Ability to conduct pre-formulation studies on APIs (IFAs), excipients, formulas, and processes via literature reviews, articles, and patents
Proficiency in critical evaluation of analytical results and proposing improvements
Understanding of pharmaceutical legislation and regulatory requirements for product submission
Partnership skills with departments like Production, Packaging, NPI, Quality Control, MS&T, Analytical Development, Bioequivalence, and Regulatory

Responsibilities

Contribute technically to the feasibility stage of new projects
Develop new products, formulations, and manufacturing processes to expand the company portfolio, following established policies and procedures
Document all development stages in standardized official documents
Initiate product development with a rational, science-based process using “Quality by Design”, “DoE”, and “PAT” to ensure quality and mitigate future issues
Provide support to Production, Packaging, NPI, and Quality Control during transfers, supporting MS&T
Perform pre-formulation studies on APIs, excipients, formulas, and processes through bibliographic research, articles, and patents
Research, identify, register, and monitor critical process and product parameters, documenting rationale in development reports
Test process ranges during development, evaluate impact on quality attributes, and monitor during validation and transfer
Critically evaluate analytical results, propose efficient improvements, and handle receipt, weighing, and separation of raw materials and packaging
Evaluate prior results with Coordination/Management of Galenic Development, Analytical Development, and Bioequivalence for pilot batch submission to equivalence/bioequivalence and dissolution profile studies
Develop products compliant with current legislation in the target country
Prepare technical documentation for new registrations in partnership with Regulatory and Analytical Development to meet legal requirements
Provide all technical information for product launch, including product structures, manufacturing/emballement procedures, storage, specifications for raw materials, bulks, intermediates, and finished products, shelf life, critical process parameters, quality attributes, and target profiles
