The starting pay is $17.90 per hour.
The shift hours are Wednesday from 12 PM to 6 PM, and Thursday through Saturday from 6 AM to 6 PM.
Must have 6 months operator experience with one employer in the last 24 months, be able to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 pounds, use basic hand tools, read and complete logs, and communicate via two-way radio. Physical tasks include shoveling, climbing stairs and ladders up to 60 feet, and working in extreme conditions. May need to operate frontend loader or forklift with certification.
The role involves maintaining a safe work environment, adhering to Tyson policies, and working in conditions exposed to wet/humid areas, moving mechanical parts, high places, outside weather, electrical risks, vibration, chemicals, extreme heat, and loud noise.
Document 6 months operator experience with one employer in the last 24 months on your application or resume, demonstrate critical thinking, problem-solving, and strong interpersonal skills, and show willingness to perform physical requirements. Specific operator experience is beneficial, and transferable skills from related fields are considered.
