Requirements

  • Must have 6 months of continuous employment with 1 employer within the last 2 years in a manufacturing production or industrial setting (must be documented on application or resume)
  • Rehire criteria: minimum waiting period of 180 days and no more than 3 times worked at Tyson Foods
  • Willing and able to perform physical demands: standing for long periods, lifting up to 50 pounds, shoveling, climbing stairs and ladders up to 60 feet, bending, stretching, reaching, working in extreme hot, cold, inclement weather, and odors
  • Able to use basic hand tools and perform basic mechanical and maintenance functions
  • Able to maintain clean work area using soap and high pressure hose
  • Able to read and complete required logs
  • Able to communicate with supervisor and co-workers via two-way radio
  • May be required to operate frontend loader or forklift (certification required)
  • Willing to work Shift C: Wednesday 1 pm to 7 pm and Thursday, Friday, Saturday 7 am to 7 pm
