- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field (preferred) or High School or equivalent
- 5-10 years of nuclear power plant supervisory/management experience
- 3-5 years of Project Management experience
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification (recommended)
- Technical understanding of nuclear plant programs, processes, and procedures
- Clear and logical thinking in stressful situations involving complex technical problems
- Ability to manage a multi-discipline team of professionals
- Ability to advise, negotiate, and resolve conflict
- Ability to effectively interface with peers and major contract organizations
- Ability to lead and motivate project managers
- Willingness to travel approximately 30-40%
Responsibilities
- Planning and implementation of dry cask loading operations across the Vistra Fleet
- Serve as the single point of contact for the Fleet Dry Cask Storage (DCS) group
- Support Fleet Refueling Pre/Post outage activities as needed at the Manager’s home plant
- Support Fleet Refueling Outages at all Vistra plants, including travelling as needed
- Participate in Fleet Refueling Training, Workshops, and OPI sessions as needed
- Ensure all quality requirements for procurement, implementation, and testing are performed in accordance with quality standards
- Ensure scope of the project is controlled, with scope changes well documented and approved
- Manage capital and O&M project budgets, including providing routine status reports and forecast updates
- Participate in INPO and industry project management forums
