Requirements

Pharmacy degree from an accredited college of pharmacy
Licensed as a PHARMACIST in Florida, Texas, Ohio, or Arizona
Ability to reside and work within the state of Florida, Texas, Ohio, or Arizona
Ability to participate in Federal prescription programs
Self-directed, but also able to work well in a group
Ability to solve problems and encourage others in collaborative problem solving
Focused, accurate, and highly productive work ethic
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Proficient with computers
Passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences
Ability to provide a hard wire internet connection and a private workspace
Ability to work a variety of tasks based on business need

Responsibilities

Accurately and timely dispense prescribed medication to patients
Ensure adherence to quality assurance standards, accurate tracking techniques, and a review process prior to shipping medications to patients
Influence department's strategy
Make decisions on moderately complex to complex issues regarding technical approach for project components
Complete a review that includes a full analysis of the medication care plan, investigation of overall utilization, and identification of unusual usage patterns
Exercise considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches to assignments
Take inbound phone calls from various healthcare team members
Make outbound phone calls to various healthcare providers if required for business need
Complete queue-based work, including reviewing prescriptions for accuracy, checking for drug-drug interactions, assessing drug-allergy concerns, and evaluating appropriateness of dosage, directions, and therapy
Utilize electronic resources and guidelines to assist in decision making
Work tasks may vary based on department need
Participate in Federal prescription programs
