Requirements

BC/BE MD in family medicine, internal medicine (with or without subspecialization), emergency medicine with primary care experience, or other BC/BE physicians with specific obesity medicine experience
Demonstrated excellent written/verbal communication skills and virtual “bedside” manner
Active, unrestricted license in 50 states
Able to work a consistent schedule in a remote telehealth setting (full-time, 40 hours per week)
Ideal: Clinical style supporting healthy, long-term, sustainable weight-loss with medical and coaching support; excited to build and deliver a new model for weight health; creative and flexible, always putting patient first; excellent at forging successful and respectful team relationships

Responsibilities

Consistently provide a world-class level of clinical care and patient experience
Perform telehealth virtual visits with patients, including discussion of scientific principles of obesity and prescription of appropriate weight loss therapy based on Calibrate clinical protocols
Review and manage daily tasks, member messages, and lab results during shifts; oversee patient progress; engage with coaches to coordinate care; review progress in regularly scheduled check-ins
Utilize and support a detailed clinical treatment paradigm developed and updated by the Calibrate team for obese patients to achieve weight-loss goals
Supervise and collaborate with up to five Nurse Practitioners
