  • Skills in establishing architecture stage gates and reviewing complex deals for alignment, risk, feasibility, and supportability
  • Capability to curate collateral including reference architectures, design patterns, integration guides, security/compliance blueprints, sizing/TCO considerations, runbooks, and delivery playbooks
  • Experience with documentation-as-code practices (e.g., Markdown/Sphinx/Git)
  • Ability to drive field/delivery enablement through briefings, labs, and hands-on guides
  • Proficiency in providing structured feedback to influence product roadmaps and backlog
  • Strong collaboration skills with key interfaces such as Solution Architects, Presales & Pursuit Teams, Product Management, and R&D

Responsibilities

  • Own the solution-level reference architecture for private/hybrid cloud, ensuring alignment to common principles and guardrails (security, performance, availability, cost, Day-2 ops)
  • Drive design & delivery forums to resolve cross-cutting concerns (identity, networking, observability, data protection, compliance)
  • Define design guardrails and decision records (ADR) to promote consistency and reduce technical variance
  • Establish architecture stage gates (e.g., solution & delivery reviews, POC/POV readiness, delivery transition) and review complex deals
  • Partner with presales/pursuit teams to shape solution approaches aligned with portfolio standards and delivery constraints
  • Partner with delivery and customer success on readiness, rollout patterns, operational guardrails, and escalate as needed to restore architectural integrity
  • Curate a “one-stop” portfolio kit of reference architectures, design patterns, integration guides, security/compliance blueprints, sizing/TCO, runbooks, and delivery playbooks
  • Lead documentation-as-code practice for versioned, automatable, reusable content, ensuring contributions from PCE/PCAI solution teams
  • Drive field/delivery enablement (briefings, labs, hands-on guides) with regular updates tied to roadmap and releases
  • Provide structured field-to-product feedback to shape backlog and roadmap; propose and socialize cross-portfolio “north-star” patterns (e.g., zero-trust, day-2 upgrades, infrastructure patterns)
