Responsibilities

  • Lead the formation and development of Scout Motors’ product liability team and implement internal programs supporting high-quality, safe vehicles, including training, policies, and procedures
  • Build relationships and working groups across internal teams (Regulatory Affairs, Quality, Engineering) to conduct risk assessments and proactively evaluate products against applicable standards and industry best practices
  • Review marketing and warnings labels to ensure product warnings, instructions, and marketing materials are clear, accurate, and compliant with regulations
  • Lead investigations of customer complaints and track industry field actions to analyze product performance and identify design/manufacturing defects early
  • Coordinate with internal teams to design and execute effective recall and field action plans as needed
  • Advise and support Scout Motors’ litigation team and outside counsel to develop defenses on cases involving product performance
