Responsibilities

  • Set the Vision: Define a multi-year roadmap for the in-club membership experience, aligning with Sam’s Club’s growth strategy and member-first mission
  • Member at the Center: Spend meaningful time in clubs and with members to understand their needs, frustrations, and opportunities for breakthrough innovation
  • Prototype & Pilot: Launch in-club pilots that test new concepts (from digital journeys to layout innovation to service models), measure impact, and refine rapidly
  • Drive Change: Partner with Operations, Technology, Design, and Merchandising to take innovations from concept to scaled execution
  • Work backwards from the vision for the future: Ensure that long-term transformations fuel near-term business growth, operational excellence, and associate empowerment
  • Measure What Matters: Define success metrics tied to member satisfaction, operational efficiency, and revenue growth
  • Lead with Influence: Inspire cross-functional partners and stakeholders with a compelling vision, while building buy-in at every level of the organization
  • Build Talent & Culture: Contribute to the development of a small but mighty team that thrives on curiosity, agility, and a bias toward action
