Requirements

  • Strategic mindset: naturally think several moves ahead, understand business models, competitive dynamics, and growth levers
  • Ability to hold discussions with executives on market strategy, unit economics, and long-term planning
  • Experience recognizing how businesses succeed and fail
  • Strong technical depth in quantitative methods: statistics, predictive modeling, optimization, experimental design
  • Proficiency in wrangling messy data, building robust analyses, and knowing when to use sophisticated models vs. simple calculations
  • Fluency in Python, R, SQL
  • Ability to explain complex analytical concepts to non-technical stakeholders without dumbing them down
  • Skill in building conviction around data-driven recommendations and defending methodology
  • Local to a US office location (hybrid role with 2 remote days/week)

Responsibilities

  • Sit at the intersection of data and strategy, turning complex business challenges into quantifiable opportunities
  • Dive deep into data to surface insights others miss and translate them into actionable growth strategies
  • Work directly with leadership to shape major business decisions (e.g., market expansion, pricing strategy, resource allocation, competitive positioning)
  • Identify the right questions to ask, build analytical frameworks to answer them, and present recommendations that shift operations
  • Own strategic initiatives from conception through execution, measuring impact and iterating
  • Travel to client sites as needed
