Requirements
- Strong understanding of public relations principles and practices.
- Proven experience in developing and executing external communication strategies.
- Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills.
- Experience in media relations, including pitching stories and securing media coverage.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Passion for storytelling and a deep understanding of the healthcare industry.
- Experience with social media and digital communication channels.
Responsibilities
- Set and execute a data-driven communication strategy aligned with company goals.
- Develop executive communication campaigns with clear KPIs that drive long-term business success.
- Lead executive thought leadership opportunities, including media interviews, op-eds, social media, speaking engagements, and awards.
- Identify relevant news angles and develop proactive communication plans.
- Write and distribute pitches, press releases, and announcements.
- Organize press events, prepare executive spokespeople, and create briefing materials.
- Develop original surveys and own report writing. Leverage data-driven insights to pitch media and reach other key audiences, including customers, prospects, and members.
- Manage the PR agency partner to enhance executive visibility and media exposure.
- Foster collaboration across departments to align communications with business goals.
- Seek new channels, partnerships, and initiatives to expand Carrot’s reach.
- Optimize resource allocation for communication initiatives, balancing budget, talent, and timelines.
