Requirements

Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field, along with a minimum of 8 years of progressive accounting experience, including at least 5 years in a leadership role. Strong knowledge of GAAP is essential, and experience with complex accounting systems and processes is highly desirable. Audit experience and familiarity with external audit requirements are also required.

Responsibilities

The Director of Accounting will oversee the monthly and quarterly close processes, ensuring financial reporting accuracy and timeliness. They will manage the coordination and execution of annual external audits, serve as the primary point of contact for auditors, and oversee tax policy and administration, including compliance and filings. Additionally, the Director of Accounting will maintain and improve internal controls, oversee operational accounting areas, supervise and develop the accounting team, and partner with functional departments to align accounting processes with business operations and support future scale.
