Requirements

  • Senior leadership experience in a similar role within Neuroscience Precision Measures or equivalent team supporting clinical stage programs in Neuropsychiatry
  • Expertise in neuropsychiatry, including diseases such as major depressive disorder, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, and autism
  • Ability to lead and coordinate cross-functional Measurement Development teams for clinical phase neuropsychiatry programs
  • Proficiency in developing translational measurement strategies, including patient stratification approaches and advanced endpoints
  • Experience creating and implementing innovative biomarker strategies, partnering with experts across Precision Measures, Neuroscience, and broader J&J Innovative Medicines organization
  • Capability to serve as a key member of Compound Development Teams, convening translational subteams
  • Skills in leading preparation for Measurement Development Forums to align with Neuroscience Leadership Team
  • Background in clinical translational research, biomarkers, quantitative imaging, and clinical biomarkers in CNS disorders
  • Willingness to work full-time from locations in La Jolla, CA, Titusville, NJ, Spring House, PA, or Cambridge, MA
  • Reports to the Head of Quantitative Imaging and Clinical Biomarkers

Responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate cross-functional Measurement Development teams for clinical phase neuropsychiatry programs
  • Coordinate the translational measurement strategy, including patient stratification approaches and advanced endpoints
  • Create and implement innovative biomarker strategies by partnering and aligning experts across Precision Measures, Neuroscience, and broader J&J Innovative Medicines organization
  • Serve as a key member of Compound Development Teams, convening the translational subteams
  • Lead preparation for Measurement Development Forums to align with and receive input from key members of the Neuroscience Leadership Team
  • Support clinical stage programs in Neuropsychiatry within the Neuroscience Precision Measures team
  • Advance measurement based on human data from fluids, tissues, high-dimensional biology, and neuroimaging to support the end-to-end portfolio
  • Partner closely with Neuroscience Discovery and Development organizations to enable advancement of the pipeline of novel mechanisms
